The Nesting Phase is Real

Oh the “Nesting phase”.  I didn’t believe it until I witnessed it with my own eyes.  My wife’s nesting phase was real and in effect for the last few weeks of her pregnancy.  One benefit, the house was never as clean as it was during that time.  Downside was I couldn’t find anything in the house [Try finding anything you need after your beautiful wife reorganizing everything in the house, go ahead I dare you!]

It can take many different forms and it’s not just about cleaning or organizing.  "Mommy’s to Be”, can go through many phases from clearing out closets, cooking, buying more baby things, folding and refolding clothes, rearranging furniture, decorating the nursery, or stocking up on baby essentials.

One thing that can ease your nesting itch is decorating the baby’s nursery.  From murals to block letters spelling out the babies name, there are so many ways to personalize your baby’s nursery.  One great way you you can pull your look together is by showcasing your maternity shoot with a wall-art portrait or a collage of matted prints to create a feature wall.

Outside of having a forever memory of how beautiful you looked carrying your baby, you can now decorate your wonderful wall prints with a great center piece as a keepsake.  If you only have one child or decide on having a big family, each pregnancy is unique and one of a kind.  Remember, it’s the future that always looks back for the memories.
